PRECAUTIONS WITH RETINOL...

Retinol Treatments for acne can be beneficial for non-inflamed acne types. Retinol products makes skin more sensitive to the sun so it should be used with caution for those spending a lot of time out doors.

TAKE THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS
WHEN USING RETINOL:
-Avoid the outdoors during peak hours.
-Wear a wide brimmed hat when outside.
-Reapply sunscreen every 1 to 2 hours when outside (even in cloudy or shady conditions).

-Reapply sunscreen regularly if working indoors near a window.
-Use a physical sunscreen with at least 9% zinc oxide - preferably 18 percent.
-Never apply to inflamed acne or inflamed skin (this includes sun burned skin).
