DO RETINOIDS GET RID OF PIMPLES...

NO TO ACNE MEDICATION CHICO
Tazorac by Allergan is the brand name for tazarotene, an acne medication commonly prescribed by dermatologists in the treatment of acne. It is a topical form of vitamin A, also know as a retinoid, available in 0.05 or 0.1 percent as a cream or gel.

Retinoids increase the growth of skin cells, and can be beneficial in acne products as well as anti-aging products due to their ability to cause shedding of the skin.

Prescription retinoids are irritating to the skin, and often set acne patients back, partly due to their ability to irritate and over-dry the skin. While some retinoids can be helpful in clearing pimples,  it alone will not clear your acne. The most effective skin treatment is a combination of active ingredients specifically selected for your skin type and grade of your acne.

916SKIN - ACNE CLINIC treats acne without the use of prescription medications. SCHEDULE A CONSULT: 530.680.2027
