CONSTIPATION & ACNE...

Constipation is a major contributor to breakouts, particularly inflamed pimples. It's your body's job to eliminate toxins, and if you're constipated, your body will begin eliminating toxins through the skin. This can present itself as body odor or acne issues in Chico

Healthy bowels eliminate 2 full bowel movements daily or at least 1 complete bowel movement per day. Even if you are eliminating daily, strained, painful, hard or clumping bowel movements are indicators of constipation.

BENEFICIAL
Lots of water - at least 1/2 your weight in ounces
Eat plenty of fiber from beans, veggies, fruit, nuts & seeds
Walk or exercise daily - at least 20 minutes of fast paced walking 

AVOID
Dehydration
Unripe Bananas
Chocolate
Dairy
Fast Foods
Red Meat
White Rice
White Flour Products/White Bread
Gluten - for those with sensitivities
Fried foods
