GRADE 1 ACNE:
The mildest form of acne, consisting of blackheads and whiteheads, sometimes referred to as comedonal acne. Grade 1 Acne is a non-inflamed acne type, and is typically responsive to the Clarisonic Facial Brush, certain scrubs, alpha-hydroxy acids, beta-hydroxy acids and benzoyl peroxide.
Grade 1 Acne typically takes one of two paths. When it develops in the late teens, the condition will usually not get worse. But, when it develops in the tweens or early teen years (12 to 14), it can be an indicator of more advanced acne down the road. This is especially true of if the parents or older siblings suffered from more severe acne. Either way, it is better to act sooner than later.
