How Much Water Should You Drink?

In terms of acne, dehydration triggers a stress response, which can lead to breakouts in acne-prone individuals. How much water should you drink? It's recommended you drink half your weight in ounces every day. More when you exercise: 16 ounces, an hour before your workout. 4 to 8 ounces every 15 minutes during your workout. And, another 16 ounces after your workout. This seems like a lot of water - gulp! Get in the habit of taking a water bottle with you where ever you go...or work out less (just kidding). Hydration is essential for healthy cellular function, including the health of your skin as it promotes cell replication, repair, elasticity, and other youthful perks.
