What Type of Acne is the Hardest to Treat???

Acne care in Chico, California is available at 916SKIN.  916 is an acne clinic treating grades 1 through 4 acne vulgaris through bimonthly acne treatments and a customized, progressive, topical home care routine.  Most patients experience immediate improvement, and are completely clear within 12 to 16 weeks.  ACNE CONSULTATIONS: 530.680.2027

Grade 2 acne is the most difficult to treat. Grade 2 acne consists mainly of whiteheads - tiny impacted bumps that make the skin feel bumpy and grainy.  The follicular/pore opening on whiteheads is in some cases very tiny, which makes it difficult to do extractions.  Grade 2 patients need massive exfoliation - Clarisonic, scrub, hydroxy acids, vitamin A products, and often times other peeling agents.  Grade 2 acne takes the longest to get clear, so, not only do they need massive exfoliation, they need a lot of patience.
