A pustule, is a type of pimple that is typically red around the base with a white pus-filled cap. The follicle is swollen with bacteria and cellular waste, which causes the opening of the pore to enlarge. Pustules can be easily extracted with very minimal damage to the skin... when done properly. But, most of the time we end up making it look even worse by picking at it!

TIPS FOR TREATING PUSTULES:
#1) Ice. Icing for 2 minutes morning and night will reduce the swelling and help prevent scarring.
#2) Don't scrub, rub or use a brush. Be gentle with inflamed acne.

Cell-turn-over occurs when dead surface skin cells slough off throughout the day. Cell-turn-over takes place every day - all day, and makes up a good portion of the dust in our homes.  These  old cells are replaced by younger cells, which have made their way up to the skin's surface.
