CHERRIES OVER ACNE...

Vitamin C supports adrenal glands and helps control acne. Vitamin C is destroyed when exposed to air. Freshly sliced cucumbers lose up to 49% of their vitamin C content when left exposed for 3 hours. Cantaloupe loses 35% of its vitamin C content within 24 hours when cut and uncovered. To maximize the vitamin C content of food, don't cut or chop fruits and vegetables until you are ready to eat.

Acerola cherries, red chili peppers and guava contain the most potent amount of vitamin C. Red sweet peppers, red chili peppers, kale, parsley and collard greens are the VEGETABLES with the highest vitamin C content. Next in line, cruciferous vegetables, and oranges contain a moderate amount, but only when eaten in season.
