"Should I avoid fat if I'm breaking out?" One of the first things people do when they start breaking out is to cut out the fat. Acne, is partly due to a lipid deficiency. Our body's need fat! Our hormones are composed of fats. Our cell membranes are made up of fats... preferably, good fats! Denying yourself this valuable nutrient is denying your self optimal health. The next time you are trying to lose weight or battle a break out, say "bye-bye" to ice cream, cheese, tempura, potato chips, and french fries, and say "hello" to fish oil, olive oil,  grape seed oil, primrose oil, flax seed oil, avocado oil, and sesame seed oil.

In short, avoid "bad fats" and consume plenty of "good fats" also know as EFA's (essential fatty acids). Now, eat up!
