A mascara that doesn't need to be removed with oil would be a benefit to those battling acne. Using a non-comedogenic oil or makeup remover to remove mascara is a decent plan, but not always available in certain situations and for the oily acne-prone person... who wants anything oily coming in contact with their skin? I've been trying Blinc Kiss Me mascara the past couple of weeks. It's a tube mascara that comes off with warm water and gentle pressure, though, it's not quite as easy as some of the videos and instructions suggest. It will come off, it just requires more time than I'm willing to put in.

Using coconut oil to remove foundation on acne-prone skin... NEVER! Coconut oil is highly comedogenic (pore clogging) and will lead to breakouts.

Using coconut oil to remove mascara is a little iffy because it's difficult to keep it off the orbital bone (cheek/zygomatic bone). If you are prone to congestion and breakouts along the orbital bone then find an alternative. If you never get congestion (clogged pores) along the orbital bone and never get breakouts in that area then it shouldn't be a problem, but try to keep it off the bone as much as possible.
