COCONUT PANCAKES FOR ACNE...

A clear complexion relies heavily on a clean colon. Bumping up your fiber intake to 40 grams a day can help keep your bowel movements regular and your acne at bay. Although fruits and vegetables should be the cornerstone of any diet, who doesn't enjoy a pancake now and then? A quarter cup of coconut flour has a whopping 10 grams of fiber!

Coconut Pancakes:
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • ¼ tsp baking soda
  • pinch of stevia
  • 2 tbsp organic nut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened applesauce
  • ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk

Mix the dry stuff in one bowl and the eggs, nut butter, apple sauce and almond milk in another bowl. Mix the wet batch into the dry batch. Add more almond milk if the batter needs to be thinned. Top with your favorite berries and honey or pure maple syrup. Enjoy!
