Your toner should leave your skin feeling clean and fresh, not hot and tight.
"Actives" refer to products that contain "active" ingredients. These are the ingredients that do the job your product says it will do. Actives give you results! Glycolic, salicylic, lactic, mandelic, kojic and tretinoic acids are an example of some of the actives used in acne products.
Don't over use your toner. There is no need to drench the cotton round. Enough toner to cover 1/3 of a cotton round will do the trick!
