Following 916SKIN acne facial treatments, you can return to work the very same day. If needed, a non-comedogenic makeup can be applied immediately following your acne treatment. Makeup suggestions will be provided during your initial consultation. If you have an upcoming special event, we recommend scheduling an acne peel 1 week prior. This will give your skin time to shed and make for a more radiant appearance at your event.
72 HOURS FOLLOWING AN ACNE PEEL:
Reapply moisturizer throughout the day
Reapply sunscreen with an spf 30 or greater
every two hours - regardless of location
Do not pick, scrub, rub with a wash cloth or force skin to shed
Avoid anything that could cause the skin to overheat or get red including:
- Direct sunlight on the area treated
- Hot tubs
- Saunas
- Hot showers (take warm quick showers)
- Intense exercise
- Excessive sweating
