CHOOSE BERRIES OVER SUGAR...

Berries are an essential part of the acne diet. Part of the natural cure for acne in Chico involves learning how, when and what to eat. 

Berries are low in sugar, high in fiber, nutrients and plant pigments. Blueberries, blackberries, strawberries & raspberries pack a punch when fighting acne. Use them as a sugar replacement in smoothies or oatmeal. If you must have a pancake or a slice of toast, puree berries and spread over the top to replace syrup. Anything to reduce your sugar intake will help get you on the right path.
