WARMING SOCKS PROCEDURE: Get yourself ready for bed and take care of your bedtime rituals. You will need a pair of fitted cotton socks and a pair of thick wool-like socks. Use scissors to cut off the tops of the cotton socks, so that the top portion of your feet are exposed (see picture). Using cold water, wet the cotton socks and gently wring them out (socks should be heavy, damp and cold).

3) Slide the warm thick wool socks on over the damp socks.

Your socks will be dry long before you awake. If your body gets over heated during the night, you can remove the socks. A cup of hot ginger tea before bed will also help warm your body. Avoid herbal teas with a cooling effect such as mint teas.
